Since people living with diabetes face unique challenges during times of disaster, we created a Diabetes Disaster Preparedness Plan which includes a checklist of supplies, information and guidelines to help you remain safe and healthy. Building a “diabetes kit” now can save a lot of worry and time when a disaster strikes.
Are you a Health Care Provider?
We have resources to help HCPs support people living with diabetes stay healthy during an emergency.
During times of disaster, the DDRC will take calls from health care providers to report locations where insulin and other diabetes supplies are needed.
